A commission enables you to create have a one off, bespoke piece of art work customised to your style.
How we begin
Initial chats will be about the space, your ideas, colour thoughts, anything you may have liked and saved, existing furniture, textures. We will discuss colour choices, framing and size. Nothing is set in stone and any changes can be made along the way. Panic not!
Photos of the room and the hanging space help me a great deal initially so thats all I really ask for.
If you’re not too far away I may be able to visit your home, if not for the initial chat most certainly to hand deliver the piece.
Estimate
Once you’ve decided on size, type of canvas, colours, additions of metallics or leaf I will be able to give you an accurate price.
Timescale and process
My current turn around time for a commissioned piece is 2-3 weeks.
A non refundable 50% deposit is required before work commences. The remaining balance is requested once your piece is finished prior to shipping. Payments can be made either by bank transfer or paypal.
There is no size limit to the art work as all of the paintings are custom made and stretched on a wooden frame using high quality cotton canvas and premium wood stretcher bars. Small or large is not an issue. A range of bespoke frames are available to chose from to compliment your artwork and all come ready to hang.
Throughout the process I will send video and close up shots of the work so you can follow progress and make any colour changes. I will check you’re completely satisfied before the varnish process.
All my pieces are finished in a UV protective spray to preserve them.
All artworks are signed on the back but can be signed on the front upon request.
Depending upon location I can hand deliver works but most are sent via secure courier.
